Experience the camaraderie that defines both the hunting and bourbon communities. Join two Kentuckians as they immerse themselves in the timeless American traditions of sipping bourbon, hunting and fishing across the Midwest and Upper South, and exploring the cultural and historical landmarks that give these regions their unique character and soul.

Our Mission
Birds’n Barrels’ (BnB’s) purpose is to entertain and educate. The articles, videos, and pictures reflect the team members’ experiences and opinions and do not represent an official stance from BnB. Eric and Maddie want to create an inclusive space for community building and to preserve the parts of the Midwest and Upper South that they hold most dear. As far as they are concerned, community comes first.
The topics discussed and explored on Birds’n Barrels are diverse; however, there is a particular focus on hunting, fishing, and bourbon and whiskey culture. Eric and Maddie want to produce content that uplifts these communities because their traditions and sense of community are especially important to them.
Meet the team
Whether they are trudging through a field with a shotgun, driving through bourbon country, or exploring a hiking trail, this group of amateurs is dedicated to sharing their stories and experiences for both your education and entertainment.
